This isn’t a place for ridicule or outrage. It’s a place to laugh with one another, because every one of us has a story that begins with, “You’re never going to believe what I did…”

Let’s be honest.
Every single one of us has done something so spectacularly stupid, embarrassing, absent-minded, or completely unintentional that we’ve wanted the floor to open up and swallow us whole.
Maybe you locked your keys in the car while it was still running.
Maybe you spent twenty minutes looking for your glasses before realizing they were on your head.
Perhaps you confidently waved at someone in a shopping mall, only to discover they were waving at the person behind you.
Or maybe—like far too many of us—you’ve sent that email to the wrong person.
Those moments are painful at the time. A week later they’re funny. Ten years later they’re the stories your friends insist on telling every time you get together.
That’s what Fuckwhittery is all about.
This isn’t a place to ridicule people or celebrate failure. Quite the opposite, actually. It’s a reminder that none of us gets through life without collecting a few spectacular stories along the way.

We keep things pretty simple around here.
We’re not interested in politics, outrage, or tearing people down.
We’re not looking for stories that humiliate someone, embarrass them for the sake of a laugh, or punch down at people who don’t deserve it.
We’re looking for the stories that make everyone at the table nod their heads because they’ve done something just as ridiculous.
If a story leaves people smiling instead of sneering, it probably belongs here.
If it reminds us that being human is gloriously imperfect, even better.
